Set during the Bolshevik Revolution, the movie ilustrates the life of Dr. Yuri Zhivago (played meritorious by Omar Sharif), caught between two romantic relationships with the beautifull Lara (Julie Christie) and bourgeois Tonya (Geraldine Chaplin).
The dynamics and hardship of war shape Yuri's life uncontrollable but they don't change his noble character and his idealism.
Good acting is provided also by well known actors like: Rod Steiger in the role of Komarovsky and Alec Guinness in the role of Gen. Yevgraf Zhivago.
Great storyline, great characters, great acting performance, great scenery, great love storie; in two words: great movie!
